It’s not very often you meet people in LA and really connect and keep their word to stay in touch. I met KC at the Sunset Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood a few months back at a Morrison Gallery party through a fabulous friend, Ty Taylor of Vintage Trouble. KC noticed my feather handbag I created and we started talking and she then told me she was a Singer Songwriter (and Model) & in a Band called Vaud and Villains and showed me photos. I instantly knew she would be perfect to wear my One of a Kind hair *Fascinators. I told her ‘You’ll so rock my hair pieces’ she said ‘I don’t do small’ and I said ‘Neither do I’! When I got back to my design studio I picked out a handful of pieces, I couldn’t just give her one as they all screamed her name! We met up again in LA and the rest is History, check out these beautiful photographs by Edrea (Ember Glow Photography) based in Los Angeles. The dress is designer Markell Yvette @kellontherise. Beautiful!
*A fascinator is a headpiece, a style of millinery. Fascinators were originally a type of lightweight knitted head-covering. Since the 1990s the term refers to a form of formal headwear worn as an alternative to the hat; it is usually a large decorative design attached to a band or clip, sometimes incorporating a base to resemble a miniature hat, in which case it may be called a hatinator!
